Nihon KOSO acquires the Control Valve Business of Parcol S.p.A., Italy

The KOSO Group (the “KOSO Group”) obtained approval from the Court of Bust Arsizio, Italy, to acquire the control valve business of Parcol S.p.A. (headquartered in Canegrate, Milan, Italy).
Founded in 1954 in Canegrate, Parcol S.p.A. is a lead, Italian valve manufacturer with more than 60 years of history, with an established brand particularly known in Europe.
While Parcol S.p.A. is currently placed under the control of the Court of Bust Arsizio, undergoing settlement procedures with its creditors, the acquisition by Nihon KOSO Co., Ltd. was approved through KOSO Italy S.r.l., our subsidiary.
Parcol S.p.A.’s control valve technology and product quality are highly appreciated by the market and will allow the KOSO Group to strengthen our product line-up, covering high- to middle-end items, through this acquisition. The KOSO Group in turn will actively share our business know-how to provide higher quality services.
Following this transaction, the KOSO Group will strive to improve our competitive strength to provide better service to our customers.
